Continuing Our Commitment to Indigenous Education Through the CPA Indigenous Bursary

Corporate Protection is proud to continue supporting Indigenous students through the CPA Indigenous Bursary, in partnership with the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC).
Over the past few years, Corporate Protection has proudly supported the bursary, helping create opportunities for Indigenous students through education. In 2026, we are pleased to continue this commitment and recognise another two students as recipients of the CPA Indigenous Bursary.
The bursary provides support to Indigenous students undertaking undergraduate study at UniSC Moreton Bay and UniSC Sunshine Coast, helping ease some of the financial pressures associated with tertiary education and allowing students to focus more fully on their studies and future goals.
Meet the 2026 Recipients
Cameron Rose – Bachelor of Creative Industries
Studying at UniSC Sunshine Coast, Cameron is undertaking a Bachelor of Creative Industries with a double minor in Theatre and Performance and Creative Writing and Publishing.
With aspirations to pursue a career in acting alongside creative writing for stage and screen, Cameron is passionate about the power of storytelling to connect people and create greater understanding of the experiences of others.
The bursary provides Cameron with greater opportunity to focus on study while participating in valuable extracurricular experiences, including UniSC’s theatre company. Cameron shared that the support will allow greater focus on learning, professional development and building connections within the creative industries.
Oasis Pilton – Bachelor of Psychology (Honours)
Studying at UniSC Moreton Bay, Oasis is undertaking a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), with a strong interest in culturally safe and responsive approaches to mental health and community wellbeing.
For Oasis, the bursary provides valuable financial relief from the costs associated with university study and everyday living, creating greater capacity to focus on coursework and academic development.
Oasis hopes to use the knowledge and skills gained throughout her studies to build a meaningful career focused on individual support and community wellbeing, including holistic approaches that recognise the importance of cultural connections.
