Corporate Protection Australia Health & Medical (CPAHM) has implemented the highest level of clinical governance and processes. Our approach goes beyond merely supplying paramedics and medical personnel; it encompasses an advanced and detailed operational structure to ensure exceptional service delivery.

The various levels of control include our Medical Director, Specialist Emergency Medicine physician, a team of On call Doctors, plus a management structure replete with highly experienced and trained medical professionals.

The hierarchy ensures that our medic team feel a part of a medical organisation, they have the appropriate technical support and a group of peers and colleagues who understand their professional needs and expectations.

The reporting structure includes our National Operations Manager, Medical Operations Coordinator and Field Contract Managers. All medical professionals in their own right.

This all translates to a motivated team, improved staff retention and enhanced service delivery.

Our structure to ensure compliance includes the CPAHM Clinical Governance committee, comprehensive processes for Poison Permit Approval and management, and QAS call out.

We have a carefully designed CPAHM recruitment and FACEM approval process.

The entire Clinical Governance system by which CPAHM operates has been implemented and continuously managed by Dr Scott Wilkinson.

Dr. Scott Wilkinson, MBBS, FRACGP, DRACOG, has a distinguished career marked by extensive experience in both clinical and remote medical environments. He graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), and furthered his qualifications with a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Diploma of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists’ (DRACOG).

24 Hour On Call Team of Doctors

CPAHM offers a 24 hour on call Doctor service at a phone call by all CPAHM paramedics, this experience is invaluable for our clients.  This service is monitored by a specialist 24-hour call centre to ensure every call is answered and a cascading response is provided should the on-call doctor not be available.

National Operations Manager 

Tyler Matakamikamica, the National Operations Manager for CPAHM is the key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing health and medical operations. This critical position demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare management, occupational health and safety, and strong leadership and organizational skills.

The position collaborates closely with Field Contract Managers, on-site medical teams, client managers, the Clinical Governance Committee, and regulatory bodies to ensure the delivery of high-quality medical care and the promotion of a safe and healthy working environment.

Medical Operations Coordinator 

The Medical Operations Coordinator (MOC) at CPAHM plays a crucial role in managing and coordinating clinical performance across all our sites. This position involves administering programs that support clinical governance and authority to practice activities.

As an integral part of the medical service delivery team, the MOC oversees field clinics and medical staff, ensuring efficient, compliant, and timely patient care. This role is vital in maintaining adherence to clinical practice guidelines and ensuring a consistently high standard of clinical care throughout the organization.

Field Contract Coordinators

CPAHM employs a team of Field Contract Coordinators (FCC) to ensure seamless service continuity in the event of unforeseen emergencies requiring the site paramedic to leave site. These team members are readily available and inducted to sites as part of our contingency management plan.

The FCC is responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining Health and Medical Services contracts between CPAHM and various clients. Their duties include ensuring that personnel, equipment, vehicles, systems, frameworks, governance, and accountability meet the required standards.

The FCC ensures that CP consistently meets or exceeds contracted KPIs, delivers best practices across all areas, and always achieves the contract scope of services. The FCC is also expected to uphold the company’s vision and core values in all business dealings.

CPAHM Clinical Governance Committee

CPAHM clinical governance committee includes several members of the medical profession including the company Medical Director, company FACEM, , National Operations Manager, Field Contract Coordinators, and Medical Operations Coordinator.

The Clinical Governance Committee is a key point of difference between CPAHMs clinical governance over those of its competitors, the committee plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality and safety of our healthcare services.

Credentialing Process 

All paramedic qualifications, AHPRA registrations, and assessments are reviewed by the CPAHM FACEM. After approval, a CPAHM Authority to Practice certificate is issued by the CPAHM Medical Director.

A checklist ensures minimum standards are met during recruitment, with reviews conducted by the Clinical Governance Committee (CGC).
