CP Indigenous Ambassador and Australian Army Elder – Aunty Lorraine in the Torres Strait
Our Indigenous Ambassador and Elder of the Australian Army, Aunty Lorraine, recently travelled to the Torres Strait.
The first collection of photos captures her time on the islands and waterways, where she connected with Community and met with soldiers currently working in the region.
These soldiers, drawn from units across Australia, are supporting the annual Army Aboriginal Community Assistance Program (AACAP). This year’s contingent of more than 350 personnel includes specialists in Engineering, Health, Dental, Preventative Medicine, Road and Water Transport, Mechanical Engineering, Administration, Physical Training, and Catering.
