Preferred provider to renewable energy industry
by Chelsea Ardley
Corporate Protection can provide end-to-end support across the renewable energy project lifecycle, tailored to the risk profile and operational phase of each project. While the greatest demand is typically during construction—where workforce density, remote locations and high-value assets elevate risk—there are also clear roles during commissioning, operations, maintenance and, where required, decommissioning.
Our experience across wind, solar, hydro and emerging green hydrogen projects demonstrates the ability to adapt services to differing site conditions, durations and regulatory environments. Wind and solar projects often require scalable security and medical coverage across large, dispersed footprints; hydro projects introduce confined space, water and legacy infrastructure risks; whilst green hydrogen presents emerging hazards that demand higher levels of emergency response preparedness and specialist capability.
From a service perspective, Corporate Protection can deliver integrated security, emergency medical services and fire and rescue (FR) support aligned to specific project types and phases. This includes access control and asset protection, on-site and standby medical teams, emergency response planning, rescue capability and interface with local emergency services.
In addition, there is a clear opportunity for Corporate Protection to support the renewable energy sector through industry-specific training, including risk based generic project inductions and site readiness programs. These are being designed to address common renewable energy risks, emergency procedures and workforce expectations, providing consistency across projects and supporting safer, more efficient mobilisation of personnel across the industry.
Corporate Protection has steadily grown its client base within the renewable energy sector and is seeing a corresponding increase in new project opportunities and expressions of interest across Australia.
In 2025 alone, this included engagement across 27 renewable energy projects, spanning wind, solar, pumped hydro, battery energy storage and renewable transmission infrastructure. This demonstrates a strong market demand and our expanding capability to support this high-growth industry.

Our core services in asset protection, emergency response, medical support and risk mitigation continue to be in demand across the renewable energy value chain. This builds on our established reputation as a trusted provider to the renewable energy industry and reinforces our commitment to the safe and efficient delivery of renewable energy infrastructure that underpins Australia’s transition to a low-carbon energy system, and our role in supporting renewable projects critical to Australia’s clean energy transition.
