Corporate Protection (CP) has always believed that support should come in the form of a hand up, not a hand out.

That is why CP is proud to announce its most recent indigenous initiative – two study bursaries in partnership with the University of the Sunshine Coast (USC). These bursaries offer financial and other support for indigenous students enrolled at USC – allowing them to focus on their dreams rather than their bills.

This bursary builds on other initiatives that form the foundation of our Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). One of our RAP’s major strategies is indigenous education, so we are thrilled to be delivering on that part of our promise.

The bursaries were announced on the University of Southern Cross website:

The successful applicants will be formally announced by USC. In addition to the bursary, all recipients will be personally mentored and supported by CP’s Indigenous Ambassador, Lorraine Hatton.

We’re looking forward to announcing the first two recipients next semester.
