Mass training event upskills an entire workforce
by Chelsea Ardley
Corporate Protection clients often face the challenge of huge workforces deployed in remote areas. We often say, “When 000 is not an option”.
Site workforce resilience and emergency preparedness is critical. Corporate Protection plays the lead role in this with the deployment of highly skilled professionals.
Many of our clients look also to provide professional development for enthusiastic volunteers who are willing to undertake first aid training. Baseline Training, Corporate Protection Registered Training Organisation is always there to assist!
A recent event was worthy of recording!
In April 2023, Baseline Training delivered CPR training to over 900+ employees on-site at a Bowen Basin mine site.
Baseline’s CPR training applies the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This course applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.
Elements within this program include:
- Responding to an emergency
- Performing CPR procedures
- Communicating details of the incident
- Comprehensive review of the incident
Baseline Training qualified facilitators have extensive First Aid through to Advanced First Aid level frontline industry experience. Our point of difference as a training provider is our frontline industry Health & Medical qualified personnel, transferring their extensive skills and knowledge directly to our candidates.
It was a major logistic challenge, an amazing event and was thoroughly enjoyed by the site staff.
Certainly, good for resilience in a workplace, but also an amazing boost for site morale and team spirit.
