CPA Group takes great pride in our historical and ongoing support of the Australian resources industry with operations spread right across the region at over 50 different locations.

The world is transitioning towards a different energy sourcing model with increased reliance on renewable energy initiatives.

Renewable energy projects have different risk profiles but still require a range of asset protection and emergency services and we are increasingly requested to provide our support services to this industry.

A great example is our medical support staffing at one of Australia’s biggest wind farms near Cooranga North, between Dalby and Kingaroy, 250 km north-west of Brisbane. The site is located on land that’s mainly used for cattle grazing and other farming activities and connects to a new power station along the Western Downs.

Incredibly, the project will have the capacity to power approximately 264,000 average Australian homes.

With ongoing staffing and training support at solar and hydroelectric projects, CPA Group is well placed to respond to the changing mix in energy supply in to the future.

One recent project of interest was a safety and security consulting brief delivered by our advisory division, iSafe. The project involved an innovative waste to energy technology based in Brisbane, and as this industry evolves, there will continue to be a need for expert advice, training, asset protection and emergency services and of course, for Corporate Protection Australia!
